The Pediatric Emergency Department at Cedar Hill is staffed by board-certified Children's National pediatric emergency medicine physicians and pediatricians, as well as pediatric nurses and support staff — all trained and dedicated solely to the care of your child. No matter how big or how small the emergency, we provide specialized treatment in a friendly, caring environment. Care is available here for all District residents, and in particular, families east of the river.

What to Do in An Emergency

If your child needs immediate medical attention and you cannot quickly and safely bring your child to the Emergency Department, please call 911 immediately.
