Choosing Children’s National for Asthma Care

Most children with asthma are cared for by their general physician or pediatrician (usually seen every three to six months) and do not require specialty care. However for some children, families may prefer to seek out specialty asthma care or pediatricians may refer patients to specialty asthma care.

Our dedicated specialty asthma team of physicians, respiratory therapists and nurse practitioners have in-depth knowledge and expertise in treating infants, children and adolescents with asthma and other lung-related conditions.

Family Resources

At Children’s National, we understand that families have many questions about their child’s asthma condition and care. In addition to any resources your provider may give you, our online resources can also support your ongoing treatment journey.
